Dear Diana,
The long-awaited and highly anticipated inductees into this VNEA Hall of Fame have been chosen.
The Awards Committee received numerous nominations from player members and Charter Holders from around the world. After an extensive and careful review of all nominations the Awards Committee presented five highly qualified individuals to the VNEA Executive Committee and received their unanimous approval.
CONGRATULATIONS!
It is with great pleasure that I inform you of your selection as an inductee into the VNEA Hall of Fame.
Your excellent sportsmanship, active participation in the promotion of the VNEA and in the affairs of all levels of your local league program and many accomplishments at the local, state, regional and/or international competitions has earned you a spot in the permanent record books of the VNEA. You are extremely deserving of this prestigious honor and I would personally like to thank you for being a part of the VNEA and congratulate you on such an elite accomplishment. The induction ceremonies will take place during the upcoming 17th Annual International Championships Team opening ceremonies to be held May 26, 1997 at 7:00pm at the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. You will be informed of all of the details as we get closer to the event but at this time it is extremely important that you immediately forward to VNEA Headquarters a recent photo of yourself and also an autobiography of you VNEA involvement and accomplishments. Again, I offer my congratulations and look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
Valley National 8-Ball League Association, Inc.
